You're hired!

The purpose of this provision is to provide skills support to unemployed individuals aged 19 and over on benefits who are looking for work but face a skills barrier to entering the labour market.

Our provision covers the activities in the below list but are not limited to these activities:

• Initial and diagnostic skills assessment
• 1 – 2 weeks Employability training and support (team working, job search and job application skills and developing communication skills)
• Improving confidence and motivation
• CV, disclosure and cover letter support
• Interview practice & preparation
• Vocationally or Occupationally specific skills training in recruiting sectors (known as pre employment training)
• Work trials/placements
• 13 weeks Job search support
• In work support

The You’re Hired provision is covered Pan-London and is a voluntary provision which means our learners want to learn and find sustainable employment.

The provision is co-financed by the European Social Fund (ESF) and the Skills Funding Agency (SFA)
